SILK RIBBON VS. CHIFFON RIBBON
SILK - soft, delicate, and more fragile than chiffon. CHIFFON - durable and soft, with a nice drape. All of our ribbon is made from a chiffon fabric, hand torn and hand processed. Similar to silk, chiffon is a beautiful alternative to silk, with the same softness and drape as silk ribbon or silk fabric. If bouquet stems touch the chiffon ribbon, it bounces back and doesn’t stain like silk ribbon does - making it a perfect choice for wedding bouquet ribbon. Any stains can be easily washed out.
What width and length ribbon do you suggest for a bridal bouquet?
To take the guess work out of for bridal bouquets, we created the bouquet bundles, which offer a pack of ribbons that are perfect for a bridal bouquet . If you prefer to order individual spools. We suggest two spools in 2in or 2.5 in width for each bridal bouquet, and one spool of either 2in or 1.5in for each maid’s bouquet.
Do you offer colors samples?
As our selection of colors changes often, we do not offer a color samples at this time.
Are colors accurate with what I see on the website?
Although no photograph can compare to the actual product in person, great care has gone into photographing in natural light for color accuracy and we tried our very best to match the colors you see to the actual ribbon color, but with the nature of computer screens, the colors may vary slightly.
Can I set up a wholesale account?
Due to the handmade nature of the product and the time-consuming process, we currently do not offer wholesale accounts. We are happy to offer a 10% off discount for orders of 20 spools or more. Please email us to inquire about a discount code. If you don't need the ribbon spooled enter NOSPOOLS15 at checkout for 15% off your order (your ribbon will come with no spools, and packaged in a muslin bag).
Do you create custom orders?
Yes, we can create sizes larger than a 3 in width. For custom orders please email us at email@example.com.
I have a ribbon emergency, can you rush my order?
Yes, we can rush orders, but keep in mind we are a small business and our ribbons are made to order by hand. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the pieces you're interested in as well as the date that you require them on hand and we will do our best to get you your order as quickly as possible.
PLEASE NOTE: orders are fulfilled and shipped out once a week, usually at the beginning of each week. We will do our best to rush the order. In the case that we are able to rush ship your order, additional shipping charges will apply.
SHIPPING + HANDLING
DOMESTIC ORDERS - we ship anywhere in the United States as well as internationally. Please allow 14 days for processing, with an additional standard USPS shipping of 2-3 business days for domestic orders. Domestic orders are sent via USPS and international orders are shipped USPS First Class International. Once your item has been shipped, you will receive an email containing the tracking number for your shipment. We are not responsible for packages that are confirmed as delivered but subsequently missing or stolen. If you need to change your order, please email us as soon as possible. We are happy to make any changes before your order has been shipped. Please note that all shipping charges are non-refundable.
When placing your order, please make sure that the shipping address is correct. The client is responsible for secondary shipping charges for orders that are returned to us and marked as undeliverable due to an incorrect address.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - we ship worldwide using USPS. However, tracking and insurance are NOT AVAILABLE through this service. In order to keep shipping prices low, your package will not be insured and no one will be able to track its whereabouts should it become lost.
From time to time, we are out of the studio and the orders placed will take a few days longer to ship. In the case that we are away for a longer period of time, we will inform you of longer shipping and response times via notices on the website. We are a small, family run business and kindly ask for your understanding if we cannot meet your requests or emails immediately.
RETURNS + EXCHANGES
All exchanges must first be initiated via email. If you are not happy with your purchase, we offer returns for store credit within 14 days of package delivery for full priced items only. Due to the nature of the product, WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS. To initiate an exchange please email us at email@example.com within 14 days of package delivery, then return the original item for a full refund (less original shipping cost) and place a new order. Returns must be unused and items in the same condition as they arrived. Please note that all shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers will assume responsibility for return shipping charges and prior shipping costs.
Within 2-3 days of our receipt of your return, you will receive a confirmation email that your return was processed. Refunds will be credited to the same credit card used to make the original purchase. Please allow 7-10 business days for the bank to post the refund to your account.
